🧔You Are A Descendant Of Legends!!
Thousands of years ago, only 5 men reproduced for every 100 women (R).
This caused a huge genetic bottleneck, which researchers were able to observe by looking at our Y-Chromosomes (Male chromosome).
The reason? Simple. A bunch of extremely high testosterone, powerful and wealthy men were able to hoard resources and outcompete other rivals.
This happened around the start of the Neolithic age, roughly 8000 years ago.
Now of course, the ratio stabilized over time, but this gives us valuable insight into the history of mankind and into the men who contributed to our very existence today.
In short, you are a direct descendant of those men, and that by itself should give you a sense of identity and a pinch of courage.
You have, for the most part, many of the genes that made them brave, intelligent, competent, resilient, and allowed them to overcome the obstacles of their time.
Now does it mean that you will be exactly like them? Of course not. I’m sure some “good” genes were also lost along the way as well, but not all.
Men are creatures of hope. Stories inspire and motivate us. Also, the placebo effect is very, very real. Even science, which I’m clearly a huge fan of, constantly shows us the power of belief.
If you believe that you’re an insignificant worm, a failure, and will amount to nothing, then I can guarantee you that it is not hard to predict where you’ll end up a few years down the road.
But the reverse is also true; if you believe that you are capable of great things, either due to lessons from the past or reflecting on your own present internal strengths, then very few things can stop you in life.
Many will read this and cope. Others will use this as motivation to keep fighting.
But if you are struggling with depression, lack of motivation, lack of purpose or identity, failure, lack of masculine drive etc., then let me remind you that I don’t care what society tells you to make you feel less of a man, and I dont care what excuses you tell yourself to justify your own failures. The blood of legends is within you. You have ZERO excuses.
