🏃Sprinting can boost DHT by ~15% in minutes

👨‍🔬In a study by Smith Et Al., when young men performed intense sprint exercise (on a cycle ergometer) for a few minutes, their DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) increased by roughly 15%. Their total and free testosterone also increased.

🔬This is partly because DHT, the most powerful androgen hormone in the entire male body, plays a huge role in force production, insulin sensitivity, Androgen Receptor upregulation, and ATP and glucose metabolism in muscle fibers, especially fast twitch (type 2) fibers.
